Maddie had her first sacrament "youth" talk the very same day Ryder had his first primary talk. Both of them spoke about Eternal Families. You can imagine Maddie's was a little longer than Ryders. :) They both went well and both of them survived and did great jobs.
Look how old he looks! He is in the 3 year old class in preschool , another year of preschool before he moves on to kindergarden. Where did my baby go? He still thinks I should carry him. At 47 lbs. that is pretty tough to do.
Summer came and went so quickly! We had a great summer, it was almost too busy. Now it's back to the reality of alarm clocks, homework, hot lunch or from home.. ahhh the house is so quiet. Too quiet. It's me and the new puppy hanging out. The new puppy who is unofficially being called by Scott the "Devil Dog- of DD" She is adorable but she does have these moments of growling at us and her little puppy teeth come out and bite your toes or your fingers. But her adorable side, laying on my lap, snuggling, making bird cries for you to pick her up. Her cute out weighs the DD. But the DD doesn't have a real name. She gets called Puppy. Ryder, Maddie and I along with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart, the Rob and Amber clan, and the Seals did the JDRF walk. It was a good experience and Ryder can see he isn't the only kid with Type I diabetes.
